I read in the The Chronicle newspaper Dec. 30, 2023, that the Washington state attorney general ordered a phone company to pay $825,000 to customers over illegal pandemic disconnections.
My question to you: What’s the pandemic have to do with anything?
The phone company disconnects your phone, but they still collect their monthly fee.
I experienced this during the month of November of 2022. I never did get any service from Centurylink. I had to go to Verizon to get phone service.
When you’re in your 90s, or any age, and need medical attention, you need to have phone service.
