Posted

William Dean "Bill" Kaech, 62, of Frances, Washington, passed away Friday, July 15, 2022, at Centralia Providence Hospital due to heart complications.

Bill was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was a man who made friends wherever he went and infected people with his radiant laugh and kindness.

Bill was born Oct. 18, 1959, to Eddie and Louise Kaech. He attended Willapa Valley High School and graduated in 1978. After high school, he married his high school sweetheart, Kelly Nissell, and together, they had two children, Cassandra (Sondi) Kaech Phelps and Zachary Kaech. Bill and Kelly raised their family on their dairy farm in Frances, Washington. They remained married for many years, but it didn’t last forever, but they did remain friends.

After farming, Bill continued with his own trucking business and later sold the business and continued in the truck hauling business. Bill had a great love for farming and up until his death, he worked to help his friends and neighbors with haying, one of his favorite things to do. Bill was an adventurer. He loved to play as hard as he worked. He enjoyed traveling, socializing and playing many hands of cribbage with close friends.

Bill was an all-around good person and a great friend. Everyone that met Bill knew they had a friend for life and usually had a good story along with a laugh or two. He loved his family and friends fiercely and was loved by many. His stubborn attitude and his faith in God got him through life, and he knew God blessed him with everything he had.

Bill was preceded in death by his father Edward Kaech Sr. and mother Louise “Graham” Kaech.

He is survived by daughter Cassandra (Kaech) Phelps, her husband Jason Phelps and their children Hunter and Payton Phelps; son Zachary Kaech; Kelly (Nissell/Kaech) Anderson; brothers Ed Kaech, Steve Kaech and Father Paul Kaech; sisters Debbie Clements, Elise Karniss and Janet Kaech; and 12 nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.
