In Loving Memory of Sharon Imhoff (Thacker): 1954-2022

Sharon Imhoff was born in 1954 as Sharon Rossi and was raised in Mount Shasta and Dunsmuir, California. She was voted an outstanding female athlete and homecoming queen by the Dunsmuir High School in 1972. 

Sharon continued her education to earn a business degree in Medford, Oregon. She married Loren Thacker and went on to raise three daughters in Napavine, Washington. She later married Thomas Imhoff in August of 2022 in Redding, California. 

Sharon died suddenly on Sept. 5, 2022, in a motorcycle accident in Trinity County, California. As a successful businesswoman of BackRubz Therapeutic Massage, she left the world a better place through her skill as a healer, her generosity, kindness and caring nature. Sharon was a devoted mother and exceptional grandmother. She possessed a powerful maternal instinct; without a second thought, she assumed the role of mother and nurturer to those around her ensuring that everyone who came through her door was safe and happy. 

Sharon and her husband were looking forward to sailing the Pacific Ocean and exploring the National Park System in their golden years. 

Sharon was preceded in death by her sister Clara Rossi. 

She is survived by her beloved husband Tom Imhoff; her sisters Mary Felch and Debbie Rossi; her three remarkable daughters Jill Kuehler, Dawn Thacker and Lisa Klarich; and her granddaughter Payton Klarich. 

A celebration of Sharon's life is planned for 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2022, at Diamond Ranch, 10919 Deschutes Road, Palo Cedro, California.
