In Loving Memory of Roy Hewlett: 1947-2021

Roy William Hewlett, 74, of Chehalis, died peacefully at his home Saturday, Aug. 7, 2021. He was born March 11, 1947, the son of Charles A. and Clarice S. Hewlett. 

Roy graduated from W.F. West High School, then joined the Air Force Reserves. He retired from the National Frozen Foods Company where he worked many years. Roy loved sports and was an avid hunter, firewood provider, gardener, canner and wine maker. 

He is survived by his son Jason (Wendy) Hewlett of Chehalis, Washington; grandchild Harlan Hewlett; step-grandchild Luke Slagle; sister Patricia (Bob) Knapp; sister-in-law Mari Hewlett; several nieces and nephews; hunting companions; numerous friends that are family and so many more countless people unmentioned. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Charles A. and Clarice S. (Turner) Hewlett; brothers Chuck Hewlett and George Hewlett; and sister-in-law Carol Hewlett. 

A celebration of life potluck will be held Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021 at 3 p.m. at the Newaukum Grange 198 in Napavine, Washington.
