It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert “Bob” Allen Ebeling, 63, who passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family.
Bob was born in Cheyanne, Wyoming. He then spent his years growing up in Tenino, Washington, where he met his best friend, Cynthia “Cindy” Grohs. They were married in 1980 and spent the next 44 years raising their two daughters in Centralia, Washington.
Bob worked for Providence Hospital for 38 years, and he was very proud of his career. He often spoke about his career and the people who he met along the way. They meant a lot to him.
He was a jack of all trades. He mostly loved to work on cars, especially classic ones. He loved trips to Home Depot and house projects. Bob was such a talented man and would often help others. There wasn’t anything that came up where he couldn’t teach himself. To everybody who knew Bob, he was kind, smart, helpful and he loved his family.
Bob is survived by his wife, Cindy; his two daughters, April and Cara; his grandsons, Tarick (Sam) and Travis; his great-grandsons, Oliver and Lucas; as well as his mother-in-law, Jan.
He is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Ken, and his granddaughter, DaShawna.
A memorial service is planned for 11 a.m. Dec. 20, 2024, at Newell-Hoerling's Mortuary in Centralia, Washington.
Bob did not like to dress clothes, so you are encouraged to wear very casual clothing. His favorite was jean shorts and a tank top.
