In Loving Memory of Randall and Carolyn Derscheid

Randall Derschied, 80, of Chehalis, Washington, passed away on Oct. 2, 2021. Randy was born on July 1, 1941 in Hurron, South Dakota. He made his living working on the turkey farm until he retired. He loved to go dancing with his wife Carolyn as often as he could. He was an avid bowler and loved to work outside, especially on his yard. Randy is preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Derscheid and grandson Isaac Stokes. Randy is survived by his sister Zilpha McCarty; children Sherri (Chuck) Wood, Karen (Harvey) Mullins, Kevin (Teresa) Russel, Cari (Ian) McClenic and Jaime (Randy) Stokes; 10 grandkids and six great-grandkids. A graveside service will be held at the Napavine Cemetery on Oct. 23, 2021 at 1 p.m. with a potluck to follow at the Chehalis Eagles. 

Carolyn Derscheid, 66, of Chehalis, passed away on Aug. 24, 2018. Carolyn was born on April 30, 1953 in Chehalis, Washington. Carolyn worked at Walmart where she made many friends and even some family. Carolyn enjoyed going out and dancing the night away with her husband Randy. She loved watching the Seahawks and spending time with her kids and grandkids and will be missed by so many. Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband Randy, grandson Isaac Stokes and sister Sharon. Carolyn leaves behind a brother Lee; sisters Lea and Judy; children Sherri (Chuck) Wood, Karen (Harvey) Mullins, Kevin (Teresa) Russell, Cari (Ian) McClenic, and Jaime (Randy) Stokes; 10 grandkids and six great-grandkids. Graveside services will be held at the Napavine Cemetery on Oct. 23, 2021 at 1 p.m. with a potluck to follow at the Chehalis Eagles.
