Marcus “Mark” Gene Armstrong, 71, of Chehalis, Washington, passed away on Oct. 5, 2021. Mark was born in West Point, Georgia. He married Patricia Barrett in 1980. They resided in Jacksonville, Florida for 16 years before relocating to Washington state. While living in Florida, Mark worked as a tug boat operator. Being on the water was a true passion. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. In 1996, Mark, his wife, and youngest daughter moved to Onalaska, Washington in pursuit of small town living. He retired as a truck driver in 2013. The remainder of his time was spent with family and watching his grandchildren grow.
He is preceded in death by his parents James Armstrong and Sarah Manders, and his sister Brenda Hill. He is survived by his spouse Patricia Armstrong; sister Barbara Vint; children Jennifer Sappington, Rhonda Linsky and Rene Armstrong; grandchildren Dillon Naillon, Logan and Jaxon Sappington, Taylor Linsky-Perez, Brandon Armstrong, Dillion Hopper and five great-grandchildren.
