In Loving Memory of John Dee Sill

Posted

John Dee Sill, a beloved father, grandfather and friend, went to heaven on March 14, 2023, at the age of 69. He was born in Centralia, Washington, to Rezin and Gloria Sill. He was the third child of five siblings, LeRoy, Mary, Louise, and Helen.

John graduated from Onalaska High School in 1971 and went on to lead a fulfilling life. He was a dedicated and hardworking individual who found and maintained a perfect balance between work and family. He was a loving father to his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

John's love for the outdoors was unmatched, and he cherished every opportunity to be out in nature, whether he was working, hiking or taking pictures of the beautiful Pacific Northwest. His stubbornness only added to his loyalty, and his friends and family will always remember him as a fun-loving, generous and sarcastic person who loved to make them laugh.

John had a passion for hot rods and he spent countless hours tinkering with them. His enthusiasm for cars and engines was contagious, and he loved nothing more than sharing his knowledge and passion with others.

John will be deeply missed by his children, Christen, John, Michelle, Jillyn and Angela; stepchildren, Tawnia, Tamie and Brian; 28 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many friends. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, dedication and a love for life that will never be forgotten.

The funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m., Friday, March 31, 2023, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Chehalis, Washington. Arrangements are entrusted to eCare Mortuary.
