In Loving Memory of Jerry Grange: 1948-2021

Jerry Paul Grange, 73, passed away Saturday, June 26, 2021, at Centralia Providence Hospital with his family by his side. He was born May 6, 1948, in Centralia, Wash., to Leona Miller and Archie Grange. He attended Centralia High School.
After high school, Jerry joined the army where he served 2 tours in Vietnam. He received the Bronze Star medal and was honorably discharged in 1973.
Following his service in the army, he worked for Imperial Metals and Kinnear Door. He then worked for the Burlington Northern Railroad as a Clerk, for BNSF Railroad as a Brakeman, and then finished his career as an Engineer.
Jerry loved fantasy football and his group's Wednesday night get-togethers. He looked forward to spending time with his family and especially the daily visits with his brother, Jeff. He enjoyed watching the Seahawks, Washington Huskies football, and the History Channel, as well as cooking and playing cards.
Survivors include brother, Jeff (Connie) Grange of Centralia; sisters, Wendy (Mike) Carlson and Sharon Goebel, all of Olympia; sister-in-law, Janet Grange, Tokeland, Wash.; nieces and nephews, Kimm Mills and Tom Gorton, Stephanie (Rob) Page, Jordan Mills, Peyton Mills, Heather Carlson and Robert Frohlich, Katy (Rod) Shute, Blake, Avery and Quinn Shute, Tara Grange and Mike Walker, Tana Curtright and Nathan (Ashley) Hood.
He is preceded in death by his father, Archie Grange; mother, Leona Miller; brother, Steve Grange and stepfather, Byron Miller.
A family graveside will be held at Mountain View Cemetery in Centralia, Wash. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Almost Home Coalition/Cats Meow P.O. Box 1421, Chehalis, WA, 98532.
