In Loving Memory of Jeremiah Dunham: 1986-2022

Jeremiah Michael Dunham, 36, of Centralia, Washington, passed away July 25, 2022, in Centralia. He was born June 5, 1986, to Dale and Mindie Dunham. He was known to his family as “Buddy” from the time he was very young. He lived his entire life in Centralia and blessed countless people with his friendship, humor, sarcasm and love. He was always willing to speak his mind. As a young boy, he and his best friend, Luke Potter, enjoyed building forts and digging random holes in the surrounding wooded area. He loved his sisters, playing with them growing up and tormenting them even until the end. He attended school at Lewis County Adventist School and Adna High School. He never shied away from hard work, holding jobs with locally-owned employers. Jeremiah loved being on the water and eventually took a job with Boyer Towing on a tugboat as a "mate in training." He married his wife, Julia Bissett, in Olympia, Washington, on Aug. 23, 2020. Buddy enjoyed backpacking, target practice, yard work and their pitbull Oy. One of his favorite places to spend time was Packwood Lake. But most of all he loved spending time with his friends, family and his little nieces who loved chasing him around and playing with Uncle.

He is survived by his wife, Julia, of Centralia; his parents, Dale and Mindie Dunham, of Centralia; sisters Jennifer (Chris) Hawes, of Chehalis, and Trista (Nick) Bozart,h of Post Falls, Idaho; nieces, Delilah, Alabama, Hudson, Indie, Luca, Piper and Morgan; and many friends and relatives. 

He was preceded in death by his sister, Marrissa Jo Dunham; grandparents, Glenn and Josephine Dunham, Linda Doran, Gerald Clapp and Donna Armstrong; great-grandmother, Lola Craven; and cousin, Andrew Craven.

There will be a celebration of life at 1 p.m. Sept. 10 at his good friends’ Alicia and Gus Howard's home at 480 Twin Oaks Road. Chehalis, Washington. All who wish to celebrate Jeremiah's life are invited to attend.
