Glennda Thomas passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at the age of 79.
Born Jan. 14, 1946, in Long Beach, California, she was the daughter of Alfred H. Allen and Florence Lucille Walton.
She is survived by her daughters, Gay LeAnne Campbell (Thompson) of Redmond, Oregon; Stacey Mae Michaels (Edwards) of Waterloo, South Carolina; and Andrea Grace Edwards of Capistrano Beach, California; her seven grandchildren; and her eight great-grandchildren. She was also blessed with the presence of others she lovingly called her grandchildren and great-grandchildren — chosen family who brought her much joy; her sister, Gail Winn of Coos Bay, Oregon; half-sister, Diana Lee Earl of Campbell, California; and her beloved partner, Steven Hatfield of Centralia, Washington.
Glennda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Steve Thomas; her son, Donald Thompson; her sister, Barbara Baker; and her half-brother, Benjamin Gus Earl.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, Aug. 31, at the American Legion of Centralia from 2 to 4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Red Cross or the American Legion Grant Hodge Post 17.
