Elaine Marie Bonagofski passed away peacefully on July 19, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family in her final moments.
Elaine was born on June 5, 1957, in Eureka, California, to Joyce (Viggers) Hammers. She was raised primarily in Fortuna, California. In 1971, her family relocated to Centralia, Washington, where she graduated from Centralia High School in 1975 as a proud Tigers cheerleader.
Elaine worked in various industries before finding her lifelong career at National Frozen Foods in Chehalis, where she dedicated 30 years before retiring in 2020.
In retirement, she embraced her favorite things — horror movies, Seahawks football, Monday Night Raw, Twin Paranormal, competitive food-eating shows, and spontaneous beach trips with her family. Above all, Elaine loved spending time with her family, and her grandchildren were truly the center of her world.
Elaine is survived by her children: Christy Glenn, Shane Bonagofski, Chantee Bonagofski (Ralph Stout), and Desiree Nino (Jose Nino); and by her beloved grandchildren: Miley, Austin, and Payton Bonagofski; Topanga, Liam, and Brodee Stout; and Shaiann, Micah, Josiah, and Eli Nino.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Aug. 16, at The LUXE, beginning at 3 p.m.
