Posted

Our beloved Brenda Joy Kinsman passed away surrounded by her family on May 23, 2023. Brenda was born on July 16, 1949, to Betty and Eldred Katyryniuk and was raised with three brothers and two sisters in Cinebar, Washington. She graduated from Onalaska High School in 1967, and soon after, met and married her husband of 54 years, Dan Kinsman.

Dan and Brenda built a farm in Onalaska where they raised their three children: Troy, Chris and Lisa. Brenda thoroughly enjoyed working on the farm, raising cows and chickens, and spent much of her time in her yard and growing her garden. She also enjoyed cooking and entertaining and made every holiday and birthday memorable. Brenda's favorite thing was time with her family and she made a point to talk to her kids every day. She spent a lot of time helping in the school when her kids attended and loved watching her kids and grandkids in sports. She was always there supporting them in anything they did.

Brenda was loving, caring, thoughtful and always put others before herself. She made everyone feel special and will be missed beyond words.

Brenda is survived by her husband Dan, her two sons Troy (Carla) Kinsman and Chris (Kim) Kinsman and her daughter Lisa Kinsman. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren, Ryley Kinsman, Chase Kinsman, Blaze Underhill, Leighton Underhill, Chase Underhill, Keaten Underhill, Courtney fiHall and Ashley Belew; five great-grandchildren; her siblings Mike Katyryniuk, Ron Katyryniuk and Becky Katyryniuk; and many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.
