Beverly Ann Leeds Huu, 81, of Chehalis, Washington, passed away with her daughter present on Sept. 7, 2022. She was born to B.A. "Bernie" and Lucille Leeds, longtime Logan Hill residents, on Nov. 13, 1940, in Centralia, Washington. She is preceded in death by both of her parents and her older sister Norma Jean Leeds.
Beverly was a hard and diligent worker throughout her entire life. She was employed at the Churchill Glove Factory in Centralia for 38 years. While employed at the glove factory, she was responsible for making the gloves for several famous rodeo riders. She loved her family, her many animals over the years, and being outside working in her yard and garden. Her special pride was her large variety of dahlias she grew, some the size of dinner plates. Ask anyone who knew her, and they will tell you that she was always full of energy and enjoyed making people smile wherever she went by sharing her kind and generous spirit.
Beverly's final resting place is at the Claquato Cemetery near her parents.
There will be a celebration of life in Beverly's memory at 1 p.m. on Nov. 13, 2022, which would have been her 82nd birthday, at the Logan Hill Grange, 105 Hewitt Road, Chehalis, Washington. A light luncheon and desserts will be served. If you knew Beverly, please stop by and help celebrate the memory of her life. In lieu of flowers, please bring a donation of either dog or cat food which will be donated to the Lewis County Animal Shelter
