In Focus: Willapa Hills Trail Bridge Over State Route 6 Now Open
Crews put finishing touches on landscape and infrastructure surrounding the newly opened section of the Willapa Hills State Park Trail in Littell on Friday, June 2. The new bridge over state Route 6 was completed late last month and opened to the public this week. Completion of this bridge provides continuous trail for 28 miles, reaching well into Pacific County. Construction was originally scheduled for completion in 2022 but the project was delayed. The purpose of the project is to separate vehicles traveling on state Route 6 from visitors using the Willapa Hills Trail.
