The Seattle to Portland Classic (STP), hosted by the Cascade Bicycle Club, begins at the University of Washington and wraps up at Northeast 11th Avenue and Holladay Street in Portland. Centralia College has long been the event’s official halfway point, with events taking place there celebrating riders during the day and many bikers choosing to camp there at night. The college provides 30 acres of camping space, over 200 showers, food vendors, a full cafeteria, a beer garden and parking for RV and support vehicles. This year was the first time the race has been held in two years.
