In Focus: Adna Business Raises Money for Scholarship on Third Anniversary of Trooper’s Death
Angie Krause, formerly known as Angie Humphrey, smiles and holds up a “Trooper” drink available at Skull and Crossbones Coffee Co. in honor of Justin Schaffer Friday morning in Adna. On Friday, a portion of each sale went toward the Justin Schaffer Scholarship Fund in Adna. Schaffer died three years ago after he was struck by a fleeing vehicle while attempting to set spike strips. Skull & Crossbones Coffee Co. is located at 109 Bunker Creek Road across from Adna Grocery. The coffee stand is open from 6 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on weekdays and from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekends.
