Human Response Network Starts Award Program to Fight Domestic Violence

Posted

The Human Response Network in Chehalis is recognizing four men who have pledged $300 each to honor 12 women during the organization’s “Stand-Up Guys” program.

The program is aimed at raising funds to support advocacy services for victims of sexual assault and domestic violence and the organization’s shelter, SafeHaven.

The Human Response Network is looking for 100 Lewis County men to give $100 in honor of a woman who they believe has made a difference in their lives or community.

Donors so far include Judge Mike Roewe, Chehalis City Councilor Anthony Ketchum, attorney Allen Unzelman and Human Response Network’s CEO David Eatwell.

Donors will receive a certificate from the organization with the name of the woman he wishes to honor as well as recognition on social media.

The Human Response Network has provided shelter and advocacy for domestic violence victims for more than 40 years.

For more information on donating, contact Eatwell at (360) 520-9776 or at exdir@hrnlc.org or visit their website at www.hrnlc.org.
