Ignited by three victories by Clark Henderson, the Timberwolves accumulated 133.5 points to place second in a league meet on Thursday night held in Montesano. Winlock was third with 80 points and Mossyrock nudged by Pe Ell 43-38 for fifth.

Henderson claimed both hurdle events by at least a second and ran the second leg of MWP’s victorious 400 relay in 47.46 seconds, barely beating Montesano. Noah Troy, the third leg in the relay, won the triple jump with a leap over 36 feet.

The Timberwolves’ 800 relay of Charlarin Madison, McKenzie Hope, Amy Martinez and Madyson Bryant won the 800 relay in 1:55.16. That same quartet was second in the 400 relay.
