A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held for PNW DooDoo Crew in celebration of the business’s grand opening, the Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce announced in a news release.

“Leash up your four-legged friends and come on out to this dog friendly event,” the chamber stated.

The ceremony will take place at 5 p.m. April 18 at Stan Hedwall Park, 1501 Rice Road, Chehalis.

PNW DooDoo Crew is a pet waste removal service that services parts of Lewis and Thurston counties.

Tatyana Yocom, owner of PNW DooDoo Crew, originally got the idea for a pet waste removal service from her husband and was immediately excited to take on the challenge of creating a business doing just that, the chamber stated in the release.

“I started this business because I saw a real need in our community for reliable, judgment-free pet waste removal,” Yocom said. “As a lifelong dog lover and someone who believes in keeping neighborhoods clean and safe, I wanted to offer a service that helps people enjoy their pets without the mess. PNW DooDoo Crew was built with heart, hustle and the support of my family and friends — especially my husband — who believed in my vision from the start.”

Yocom picks up pet waste for all kinds of clients, doing everything from weekly and biweekly cleanings to one-time cleanups.

“I do private, residential and commercial cleanings. No job is too small for me,” Yocom said.

PNW DooDoo Crew strives to be environmentally conscious, using eco-friendly biodegradable garbage bags, according to the chamber.

Yocom said she hopes that the ribbon-cutting ceremony will be an opportunity for her to reach new clientele and let the community know about her services.

“The ribbon-cutting ceremony is more than just a celebration — it's a chance to introduce myself and my business to the community in an official way,” she said. “I’m hoping to connect with local pet owners, other small businesses, and show people that even a 'dirty job' can be done with pride and professionalism. I want folks to know that we’re here, we care and we’re ready to scoop the poop so they don’t have to.”

The Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce hosts ribbon-cutting ceremonies for local businesses that are expanding, rebranding or celebrating significant milestones. These ceremonies are available for both members and non-members of the chamber. The chamber encourages community members to attend the PNW DooDoo Crew ribbon-cutting ceremony.
