Grand Opening for Saddle Bum in Centralia Set for June 7

A grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held for downtown Centralia’s newest business at noon on June 7, according to the Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce.

Saddle Bum Western Store opened for business earlier this month at 318 N. Tower Ave. in Centralia.

The chamber of commerce encourages the community to take part in the festivities by attending the official ceremony.

“We’ll have snacks, a boot giveaway and discounts that day,” owner Jeannie Gluck said in a news release.

While Gluck and her husband have owned the Centerstage Construction Company for 13 years, opening a western-themed shop is something that she has been wanting to do for years.

Her daughter was involved in 4-H and she loved western culture, so everything at Saddle Bum offers a western flair and vibe.

“We serve the whole family offering men’s, women’s and children’s clothes and accessories,” Gluck said. “We strive to discover affordable brands.”

In addition to new apparel, Saddle Bum also has a vintage and used clothing section. An especially fun feature of Saddle Bum is its Hat Bar on the second floor offering hat shaping, jewelry and branding.

Situated at the corner of Tower and Maple, Saddle Bum is located in the lobby of the former historic Wilson Hotel.

The cashier desk is original to the lobby as is the fireplace.

Saddle Bum also has a Facebook page.
