Ella Goheen and Kailey Miller had big afternoons for Black Hills on Wednesday, helping the Wolves top Hoquiam 14-2 in six innings.

The Wolves took control with five in the fifth, and they built on their lead throughout the next four innings to take an 11-2 lead into the sixth. After a scoreless top half of the sixth, Miller ended the game with a run-rule walk-off three-run home run in the bottom half.

Goheen also hit a home run and drove in two in the win, and she allowed just four hits and one run while striking out seven and walking five across four innings in the circle. Maddie Knight pitched the final two innings, allowing three hits and an earned run while striking out a pair, and she also tallied two hits at the dish.

Kiley McMahon and Lily Shipe collected two hits apiece and also both drove in a run.

The Wolves (2-0) will hit the road on Monday to face Montesano.
