Gayle Roseanna Stevens: 1942-2021

 Gayle Roseanna Stevens, 78, passed away April 16, 2021 at her home in Napavine, Wash. She was born October 26, 1942 to Alvin Emery Moon and Bertha Lampitt Moon in Chehalis, Wash.
Gayle grew up in Chehalis, Wash., and graduated from W.F. West High School in 1960.1960.
She was very passionate about genealogy. Through the years, she traveled to all but five states gathering information for her genealogy research. She enjoyed traveling, family reunions, and spending time with her family, friends, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Gayle never met a stranger and captured the hearts of many with her infectious laugh and quick wit.
Gayle was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard "Dick" H. Stevens, Sr.; brothers, Kenneth Moon, Jerry Moon, Milton "Mel" Moon; son, Marvin Honeycutt; daughter, Lori Honeycutt; and granddaughter, Megan Gent.
Gayle is survived by her husband, Fred Meier of Napavine, Wash.; her children, Roberta Sanders, San Angelo, Texas, Teresa (Rodney) Gunn, Raymond, Miss., Melissa Honeycutt, Lakeside, Cali., Richard "Dick" Stevens, London, England, Robert "Bob" (Staci) Stevens, Curtis, Wash.; brothers, Edward "Ed" (Laura) Moon, Winlock, Wash., Del "Poncho" (Dorene) Moon, Tacoma, Wash; sisters-in-law, Kathey Moon, Centralia, Wash., Debbie Moon Fillo, Centralia, Wash.; 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind long-time family friends Bob Dietz and Leon Ellis, who were like sons to her.
