Four Local Boys to Participate in Tennis State Championships in Seattle Over Weekend

With the W.F. West boys sending a singles and doubles team, and Black Hills getting one singles player into the state championships, area teams will battle in the opening rounds of the 2A State Tennis Championships at the Nordstrom Center on the University of Washington’s campus this Friday.

The Bearcats will be led by Aaron Boggess, who won the 2A Evergreen league singles tournament title and will open in the first round against Nathan Gruman of Sehome Friday in Seattle. 



On the opposite side of the bracket, Black Hills’ Josh Do will take on Sammamish’s Jack Wang in the opening round of the double elimination bracket. 

In doubles, Javyn Han and Bryce Kuykendall will open against Port Angeles’ Edun Bailey and Jacob Miller in the first round of the tournament.
