Ethel Man Accused of Driving While Intoxicated, Crashing Into Vehicle in May 2020 Sentenced

An Ethel man who pleaded guilty to charges relating to a crash near mile marker 142 on U.S. Highway 12 in May 2020 has been sentenced to 15 months in prison and an additional 18 months of community custody.

Michael W. Osborn entered a guilty plea on Oct. 12 to one count each of vehicular assault and hit-and-run, injury for driving while intoxicated, on May 22, 2020, and crashing into another vehicle, then fleeing the scene before police arrived.



Osborn’s sentence will be served consecutively with a 15-month sentence he recently received in Cowlitz County for a separate case.

He is currently incarcerated at the Lewis County Jail.
