Six extra-base hits and at least four runs in three of the four innings ignited the Pirates to their second straight run-rule victory, this one a 16-3 win over Mossyrock on Tuesday night at home.
Danika Hallom and Khloe Hunt each roped two doubles and Alyssa Carroll capped a five-run second with a three-run home run. Carroll finished with four RBIs while Hunt drove in three. Hadleigh Gerard drew four walks and scored three times out of the leadoff spot.
Adna (11-4) put the finishing touches on the blowout with five in the fourth. Mossyrock (4-9) grabbed the first run of the game on a Chesney Schultz RBI single and two in the third came on an error and RBI groundout by Brooke Schwartz.
Both sides return to C2BL play on Thursday with Adan taking on Onalaska and Mossyrock battling Winlock.
