Comp-Prime Computers, a Centralia-based business established in 1995 by Ed and Michelle Schonack and Rusty and Terri Henthorn, has undergone a transition in ownership, according to a news release from the business.

Rusty and Terri Henthorn have departed from the business. Ed Schonack has ushered in his son-in-law, Ben Lomedico, as new partner effective Sept. 1.

“Ed continues to work in the field servicing many business, government and educational networks,” the release stated. “Ben has been with the company for nine years and holds a dual role operating both in the field and attending to customers within the store.”

Wyndee Lomedico, daughter of Ed and Michelle Schonack and wife of Ben Lomedico, has also been an integral part of Comp-Prime for over 20 years, according to the release. She assumed the position of office manager following the death of her mother, Michelle Schonack. “Additionally, the team is pleased to acknowledge the dedication of Lars Haviland, who has served as a technician and social media manager for 10 years,” the business stated. “Comp-Prime wouldn’t be where it is now without the seamless efforts of their staff, past and present.”

Ed Schonack, Ben and Wyndee Lomedico, and Haviland are eager about the new prospects and endeavors that are ahead, according to the release.

“They express gratitude to everyone who has contributed to making Comp-Prime Computers the foremost computer store in Lewis County over the span of 28 years,” the business stated.
