Lewis County Fire District 5 Blood Pressure Check

Jan. 23 through 27 at the Napavine Main Fire Station, 115 E. Washington St., Napavine; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Residents are encouraged to come to the Napavine Fire Station and get their blood pressure taken by an emergency medical technician or paramedic. Those who get their blood pressure taken will receive a free wallet card to keep track of their blood pressure. 

 

Mint City Roasters Ribbon-Cutting 

Jan. 24 at Mint City Coffee Roasters, 539 N. Market Blvd., Chehalis; 12 p.m.

Mint City Coffee Roasters will hold a ribbon-cutting with the Chamber of Commerce. The owners, Jason and Shawna Boettner and Kyle and Sarah Askin, will be present. There will be a raffle drawing and refreshments will be provided. 

 

Newaukum Golf Course Weekly Bingo

Jan. 24 at the Newaukum Golf Course, 153 Newaukum Golf Drive, Chehalis; 5:30 to 7 p.m.

This is a free event at the Newaukum Golf Course.

 

Stormwater Management Workshop

Jan. 25 at the Borst Park Kitchen #1, Centralia; 6 p.m.

Attendees can join the Stream Team and Centralia Public Works to learn about stormwater management and what people can do to prevent pollution. For more information, email kenna.fosnacht@lewiscdwa.com. 

 

Relay for Life

Jan. 25 at O’Blarney’s at the Gibson House, 221 N. Tower Ave., Centralia; 6 p.m.

There will be a Relay for Life of Lewis County team meeting. 

 

Lewis County Seniors Resource Fair



Jan. 26 at the Twin Cities Senior Center, 2545 N. National Ave., Chehalis; 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This is an event for seniors, those approaching their senior years and caregivers for seniors. 

 

All You Can Eat Spaghetti Fundraiser

Jan. 27 at the Olequa Senior Center, 119 SW Kerront St., Winlock; 4:30 to 7 p.m.

This fundraiser is to help raise funds for a new stove and ovens for Lewis County Seniors. The cost is $12 per adult and $10 per child and includes spaghetti, garlic bread, salad and dessert. Paint and Sip at Jimmies at the Cove

Jan. 28 at Jimmies at the Cove, 200 S. King St., Centralia; 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Adna Grange Potato Bake

Jan. 28 at the Adna Grange, 123 Dieckman Road, Adna; 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Meals are $7 and include several toppings, a garden salad, a beverage and a dessert. 

 

Dinner and Bingo Fundraiser

Jan. 28 at the Napavine Trinity Rebekah’s, 111 W. Washington St., Napavine; 4 p.m.

This fundraiser will be hosted with the Lewis County Breast Cancer Support Group. The entry fee is $25 and will include a potato bar, dinner and dessert, and two bingo cards. The event will include raffles and 50/50 drawings. 

 

Community Integrated Health Services Public Operating Board Meetings

Jan. 30 at 1217 Mellen St., Centralia

Meeting will be held in virtual format and in person.
