Easter Extravaganza

April 16 at the Chehalis Moose Lodge, 1400 Grand Ave., Centralia; 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Over 30 vendors will be handing out candy filled eggs to kids. Breakfast will be for sale until 11:30 a.m. and lunch will be sold from 12:30 p.m. until the end of the event. Meals cost $12.

The Easter Bunny will also make an appearance.

 

Easter Egg Hunt

April 16 at 812 Westlake Ave., Morton; 11 a.m.

Join Brown Mortuary Service for an Easter Egg Hunt, refreshments and snacks.

 

Easter Egg Hunt

April 17 at 1437 S. Gold St., Centralia; 10 a.m.

Sticklin Funeral Chapel invites families to meet the Easter Bunny and join them for an “Eggtastic Egg Hunt.” Cocoa and cookies will be served.

 

Children’s Easter Egg Hunt and Bake Sale

April 17 at Mineral Lake Lions Club; 12 to 2 p.m.

 

Business After Hours

April 21 at 1437 S. Gold St., Centralia; 5 p.m.

Enjoy a night of networking, food, beverages, fun and prizes with the Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce, hosted by Sticklin Funeral Chapel.

 

Lewis County Stream Team Earth Day Event

April 23 at the Borst Home Museum, 2030 Borst Ave., Centralia; 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Learn about invasive weeds and the importance of riparian trees from guest speakers. Take part in removing invasive Italian arum and replanting native species. Snacks, shovels and work gloves will be provided. Wear long sleeves and work boots. Connect with your community and give back to the environment for Earth Day. Families are welcome.

Experience Chehalis Earth Day Clean-up

April 23, Lewis County Historical Museum, 599 NW Front St., Chehalis; 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Experience Chehalis is holding an Earth Day Community Clean-up event and entrants can participate for as little or as long as they would like. Check in at the Lewis County Historical museum and sign up for one of the clean-up activities. Raffle tickets will be exchanged for full track bags full of litter. Call 360-345-1738 to register by April 14 and receive a free Experience Chehalis Earth Day T-shirt.

 



Potato Bake

April 23 at the Adna Grange, 123 Dieckman Road, Chehalis; 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Lunch costs $7 and will include a potato, toppings, a beverage, salad and dessert.

 

Spring Youth Fair

April 29, 30 and May 1 at the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds

Parking and admission are free on Friday, April 29 and throughout the fair for kids ages 5 and below. Saturday/Sunday parking costs $5 and admission is $5 per day for anyone age 13 or older, $4 per day for ages 6 through 12. Gate Community Club Plant Sale

April 30 at the Historic Gate City Schoolhouse, 16925 Moon Road SW, Rochester; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Proceeds from the plant sale will be used for improvements of the historic schoolhouse.

 

Spring Fling

April 30, Logan Hill Grange, 105 Hewitt Road, Chehalis; 1 to 5 p.m.

Clap your hands, stomp those feet, dance to that fine blue grass of the Dills Family Band. There will be music, hot dogs, potato chips, home-baked beans, cookies and beverages for $10 per person. Lewis County AAUW is in its sixth year of providing original short films directed by and about women. For a donation of $10, films can be accessed online during a 48-hour period beginning 8 a.m. on Saturday, April 30. Proceeds support Hope Alliance and scholarships for Lewis County Women. Mother’s Day Market

May 7 at Jester’s Auto Museum, 321 Hamilton Road, Chehalis; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This vendor fair will host over 50 vendors. Free admission and free parking.

 

Workgroup for Parents of Children With Disabilities

May 11 at the Jensen Memorial Event Center, Veterans Memorial Museum at 100 SW Veterans Way; 5:30 to 7 p.m.

This class is hosted by Reliable Enterprises and Lewis County Public Health and Social Services. Topics include preparing for graduation and other transitions, social security, employment supports and more. Lewis County Cemetery District #1 Monthly Meeting

May 11 at the cemetery office, 407 Cowlitz Road, Winlock; 7 p.m.
