Centralia Teens, 13 and 16, Injured in Rollover Crash North of Centralia

Posted

Two Centralia teens, ages 13 and 16, were injured after their vehicle left the roadway and rolled multiple times north of Centralia at about 8:30 p.m. Friday, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The teens, who were not identified because they are juveniles, were traveling northbound on state Route 507 at Big Hanaford Road when the crash occurred. Their 2002 Honda Accord was traveling too fast to negotiate a curve and left the road to the right before rolling, according to the state patrol.

The 16-year-old driver was transported to Providence Centralia Hospital. He could face charges of vehicular assault as drugs or alcohol appear to have been a factor in the crash, according to the state patrol. The 13-year-old passenger was transported to Tacoma General Hospital.

Both boys were wearing seat belts.

The vehicle was totaled.
