Centralia church to host free Cancer Survivorship Seminar

To support cancer patients, family, friends and caregivers during Cancer Survivorship Month, Immanuel Lutheran Church in Centralia will host a free Cancer Survivorship Seminar from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19.

The speaker will be Dr. Cobie Whitten, a psychologist who specializes in helping with the emotional side of a cancer diagnosis from the beginning and beyond. Whitten is a consultant with the Providence Regional Cancer System and a faculty member at Harmony Hill Treatment Center and the Genetic Support Foundation. 

For over 30 years, she has worked tirelessly to support patients facing a diagnosis and improve cancer survivorship programs locally.
