The Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday named the recipients of its 2021 chamber-sponsored scholarships.
The funds were available to local high school students looking to continue their education. The chamber this year offered seven scholarships to benefit 12 students.
The following are the winners:
• Olivia Mitchell Scholarship: Paige Wagner
• Rainier Connect Scholarship: Cody Matz
• Visiting Nurses Scholarship: Jessie Bergeson
• Centralia Community Foundation Scholarship: Rebecca Demaris and Courtney Spriggs
• Cheylynn Collinsworth Scholarship: Brianne Powe
• Rob Fuller Scholarship: Abigail Kay, Lucas Wichert, Jesse Brower, McKenna Klovdahl, Cade Haller, Gabe Cuestas and Courtney Spriggs
Sponsors of the scholarships include: I-5 Cars; Rainier Connect; Lucky Eagle Casino and Hotel; Port of Centralia; The Chronicle; Thorbeckes Wellness Center; Althauser, Rayan, Abbarno; Bob Holland Insurance; Best Western; and Chehalis Livestock Market.
