The Centralia College volleyball team kept things close for two sets but couldn’t come away with either, and ultimately fell 25-21, 28-26, 25-14 to South Puget Sound on Wednesday.

“It was a high-energy night with some great rallies for both programs,” CC coach Ceanna Larson said. “We were able to make some big plays and continue to show all the players’ hard work and improvement.”

Kelly Casarez led the offense with eight kills, and also logged four digs, while W.F. West alum Morgan Rogesrson had six kills and nine digs.

Centralia alum Evie Rooklidge led the defense with 12 digs.

CC will host Green River on Friday.
