Castle Rock man injured after crashing into utility pole in Cowlitz County on Monday

A Castle Rock man was hospitalized after his vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole on state Route 411 between Lexington and Pleasant Hill in Cowlitz County on Monday.

John H. Brockmoller, 75, was reportedly driving a white 2021 Toyota Tacoma northbound on state Route 411 when, just before 4:45 p.m. on April 14, the vehicle crossed the centerline, left the southbound shoulder near Edgewater Drive and crashed into a utility pole in a ditch, according to a memo from the Washington State Patrol.



Brockmoller was transported to Peacehealth St. John’s Medical Center for treatment.

Drugs or alcohol were not factors in the crash, according to the Washington State Patrol.
