The Winlock football team couldn’t keep up with its guests Saturday in Egg Town, as the Cardinals lost 48-0 to Concrete in a game that was called at halftime due to mounting injuries.
The Cardinals (0-2) managed just 42 total yards of offense, while the Lions poured in 40 points in the opening quarter.
Winlock is set to host Chief Leschi next Friday in its 1B SWW League opener.
