Bruce Victor Zillmer

Bruce Victor Zillmer, 71, of Centralia, Wash., passed away March 26, 2021, at his home. He was born in St. Croix, Wis., to Victor and Lorraine Zillmer, Feb. 17, 1950. He attended Kent Meridian High School in Kent, Wash., and graduated in 1968. He worked as a Tech Designer/Draftsman at Boeing for 20 years. Bruce is a veteran of the United States Air Force, stationed at Castle Air Force Base in Calif., where he served as a Weapons Mechanic and was honorably discharged in May of 1972.
Bruce married his beloved wife, Debra Batinovich, July 2, 1981, and they lived in Federal Way, Wash., before retiring to Hoodsport, Wash. Bruce and Debby enjoyed the Lake Cushman golf community they lived in and the many friends they made along the way. They moved to Centralia about 10 years ago. Bruce delighted in owning, driving, and participating in local car shows with his classic cars. He was an avid football fan and enjoyed his weekly lunch gatherings with friends.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Lorraine Zillmer; brother, Gail Zillmer; sister, Vicki Kady; and brother, Lynn Zillmer.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Debra (Batinovich) Zillmer of Centralia, Wash.; daughter, Jana (Michael) Weaver; granddaughters, Morgan Weaver and Isabella Weaver; brother, Mark (Terri) Zillmer; and nieces Alicia (Zillmer) Duman and Amanda Zillmer.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to caregivers Nicole Mathus, Jessica Frye and Darcey Brown as well as Assured Hospice of Centralia.
