Blood Donors Sought for Bloodworks Popup Donation Center at Lewis County Mall

Posted

Bloodworks Northwest will hold a four-day popup blood donation center at the Lewis County Mall to help address critical lows in its blood inventory.

The nonprofit recently declared its blood supply is in code red, meaning that blood is being shipped to hospitals in Washington and Oregon faster than it’s being collected.

Due to social distancing protocols, Bloodworks is requiring donors to make appointments in advance to fill a fixed number of donation appointments per day.

“People not showing up to appointments impacts the ability to collect enough blood,” said Bloodworks in a news release.

Visit https://dslnk.co/ChehalisPopUp to sign up for a donation slot on June 8, 9, 15 or 16.

Donors are asked to bring a mask or face covering to their appointment.

No walk-ins, guests or people under the age of 16 are permitted on site.
