Falling in its second NWAC West contest of the season, the Centralia College men’s basketball team dropped a home game with Tacoma Saturday evening, 89-74.

The Trailblazers (4-14, 2-2 NWAC West) were led by Raymond Guillory’s 24 points, and both Adrian Brown and Juelz Mendoza scored 14 points a piece, but shot 41% from the field opposed to the Titans 54% in the loss.

Centralia also chucked up 27 3-pointers, with just eight falling, while the Titans hit eight but on 50% shooting from distance. Despite forcing 19 turnovers, the Blazers couldn’t capitalize nearly enough to earn their first home conference win of the season Saturday.

The Blazers return to action on Wednesday as they head down to Longview to take on Lower Columbia at 6 p.m.
