It moves Black Hills (9-6, 5-11 EvCo) into a tie with Tumwater for third in the league, but second for the Class 2A District 4 tournament. The second meeting between the South Thurston County rivals is set for next Friday.
The Wolves put up 44 points in the final two frames – 22 apiece – to erase a three-point halftime deficit and secure their third victory in a row. Tyler Venable was the catalyst of the scoring with a team-best 24 points while Ellie Johnson added 15 plus 11 rebounds.
Kiley McMahon registered 14 points and Natalie Buchanan notched 11. Black Hills will play its final non-league game of the season on Monday night against Tenino.
