The Black Hills girls basketball team won its second game against a 1A Evergreen team in as many days Wednesday, beating Hoquiam 63-38 in Grays Harbor County.

The Wolves (8-1, 2-1 EvCo) jumped out to a 24-9 lead a quarter in, and held the Grizzlies to just 10 more points before the fourth began.

Kiley McMahon led the way with 19 points, while Tyler Venable added 13.

Carmen Williams did a bit of everything, with eight points, five rebounds and four blocks, while Clair Johnson filled out her own stat sheet with four points, five steals and three assists.

Black Hills will be off through Christmas, then return to action with a benchmark of a non-league test against a Timberline squad that just beat Tumwater by 27.
