The Black Hills boys basketball team wasted no time building an early lead against Aberdeen on Wednesday, and the Wolves went on to dominate the Bobcats in a 69-42 win.
The Wolves scored 25 points in the first and 22 in the second, building a 27-point lead by halftime.
The second half was more even, as Black Hills did what it needed to do to make sure Aberdeen couldn’t get back into the game.
Four Wolves finished in double-figures, including Jaxsen Beck and Quinton Morrill, who both scored 13 points. James Morgan scored 12, and Tristan Deville added 10.
Talon Morrill scored eight, Peyton Faught tallied six, and Zachary Bellmer scored four.
Black Hills (10-5, 5-0 2A EvCo) will look to remain perfect in league play on Friday at Shelton.
