Posted

A benefit auction will be held at 5 p.m. March 11 at the Chehalis Eagles to raise funds for the family of Christen Copenhefer, who is recovering from a serious brain injury.

The event will include food, a live auction, a silent auction and entertainment provided by The Wildwoods.

“Christen is recovering from a serious brain injury that is taking time to heal,” organizers wrote in a flier announcing the event. “Their family leave is depleted from Christen’s prior surgeries and then this wack on the head! Those of us that love this fun, caring, positive beauty want to gather and show our love and support.”

Monetary donations can be mailed directly to Christen Copenhefer at 1643 S. Market Blvd. in Chehalis, 98532.

Items for the auction are also being accepted. Call or text Tod Davis at 360-880-4196, Shayla at 360-880-4197 or Lynn Anderson at 360-880-4960 for questions or information about auction items.

Donations can be dropped off at 307 NW Park St. in Downtown Chehalis.

The Chehalis Eagles, where the benefit auction will be held, is located at 1993 S Market Blvd, Chehalis.
