The Tenino boys soccer team couldn’t make its way onto the scoreboard Monday night, falling at home to Montesano 3-0.
The Bulldogs made it 1-0 in the 25th minute, then came right back to double their lead in the 30th.
“They got one, and we hung our heads for a second and they were able to punch another one in,” Tenino coach Trevor Fetbrandt said.
Montesano added its third goal in the 71st minute, with the game approaching full-time.
Alex Reichelderfer made four saves in net for the Beavers to start before allowing Montesano’s first goal and getting subbed into the outfield. Brock Mauer took his place between the sticks and stopped 10 of the 12 shots he faced the rest of the night.
Tenino will continue its week at Eatonville on Wednesday.
