W.F. West proved itself the home to the superior type of cat, as the Bearcats rolled past the Bobcats of Aberdeen 78-52 on Thursday in Grays Harbor County.
Soren Dalan came away with 19 points, and added to his program-record rebound total with 16 boards. Parker Eiswald and Gage Brumfield both hit a trio of 3-pointers and finished with 17 and 15 points, respectively, and Tyler Klatush also got into double figures with 10.
The Bearcats came into the day already locked into third place in the 2A EvCo to end the season. Now, they’ll get nine days off before heading to Longview for the first round of the 2A District IV tournament on Feb. 11. They’ll face the No. 2 seed out of the GSHL, which is set to either be R.A. Long or Mark Morris.
