Balanced offense powers Vikings to first victory

Eight of the nine players that earned a carry for the Mossyrock football team on Friday night went into double figures and that was enough to dispatch of Vashon Island 70-3 in a Week 4 blowout.

Aylan Bigbee led the charge with 89 yards and a touchdown for the Vikings. They scored at least a touchdown in every quarter and at minimum two in the first three stanzas.

“My whole philosophy is we got the mouths to feed and it is hard to key in on one guy,” Mossyrock first-year coach Robbie Dailey said.

Kyle Brockway, Freddy Solis, Gunnar Callies all found the end zone for the Colts. The Vikings didn’t play in Week 3 and they were well rested for a little ferry ride to East Seattle. They will take on Toledo in a C2BL East contest next week.

“Blessing in disguise,” Dailey said. “Having fun moving forward and focusing on ourselves. Block out the house and let’s get something rolling.”
