Auditor’s Office Seeks Citizens to Serve on ‘Against’ Committee for Tenino Ballot Measure

The Thurston County Auditor’s Office is looking for committee members who would submit an “against” argument for a ballot measure the Tenino Fire Protection District 12 will place on the November ballot.

The ballot proposition is for bonds to construct a new fire station.



The written arguments against the ballot measure will appear in the local voters’ pamphlet, stated a news release.

Those interested should submit a committee member form to the auditor’s office by noon on Tuesday, Aug. 10 through email at pamphlet@co.thurston.wa.us or by calling 360-786-5408. To learn more, click on the “Candidates and Jurisdictions” section on the ThurstonVotes.org website.
