It wasn’t the most dominant performance from the Adna volleyball team on Tuesday night, but the Pirates still were able to come away with a 25-18, 21-25, 25-16, 25-13 win over Toutle Lake to remain undefeated.
“We lacked our usual focus and had lackluster energy,” Adna coach Wendie Dotson said. “Toulte played an exceptional defensive game and kept balls in play.”
Kendall Humphrey had an excellent all-around game, as she tallied 17 kills, 15 digs, and four blocks without missing a serve. Gaby Guard also didn’t miss a serve, and she added 43 assists and 11 digs.
Karsyn Freeman logged 22 kills and 16 digs, and Danika Hallom added 13 digs and 10 kills. McKenna Torrey recorded eight digs and four kills, while Bailey Chapman had five stuff blocks, three blocks, and four digs.
The Pirates (13-0, 5-0 C2BL) will return home Thursday to host Napavine.
