Over 48 hours after suffering their first setback in the C2BL, the Pirates turned in a 10-0, six-inning victory over the Ducks on Monday night in Toutle to hit the double digit win total once again.
Danika Hallom played a big role in the victory with four hits, including a three-run home run in the first inning, and an RBI triple. Adna (10-4, 5-1 C2BL) scored two runs in the second, fourth and fifth innings and capped the 10-run outing with a run in the sixth.
The Pirates took advantage of nine Toutle Lake errors. Hadleigh Gerard recorded three hits while Alyssa Carroll added two and Kendall Humphrey drove in two runs. Avery LaFontaine struck out seven in a complete game in the circle.
Adna will host Mossyrock in another league tilt on Tuesday.
