The Adna boys basketball team did enough to hold off Morton-White Pass on Tuesday, as the Pirates defeated the Timberwolves 58-49.
It was a close game through three quarters, as the Pirates led by just three, but Adna scored 23 points in the final frame to seal the game.
Trevin Salme led the Pirates with 16 points, while Grayson Humphrey scored nine of his 14 points in the fourth.
Jackson Knittle added 12 points, while Gavan Muller scored eight.
Judah Kelly led MWP with 19 points, while Logan Mays scored 15. No other Timberwolf scored more than five.
The T-Wolves (3-7, 2-6 C2BL) will look to snap a five-game losing streak on Thursday at Kalama, while the Pirates (10-2, 7-0) will welcome Napavine on Saturday.
