On a beautiful day at Riverside Golf Course in Chehalis, the Adna boys and girls golf programs hosted a pair of teams Wednesday for a match in one last tune-up before districts next week.
The Pirate boys got the win in a league matchup against Wahkiakum, 184-224, led by match medalist Braeden Salme, who carded a 39.
Behind him, Josh McGuire shot a 49, Andrew Grim a 44, and Lenz Bigbee a 52.
Wahkiakum was led by Sebastian Britt’s 43.
On the girls side, the Pirates lost to Montesano, 204-275, but had some solid scores as districts loom. Natalie Humphrey carded a 59, with Parker Feist scoring 70, Jaylee Humphrey 71, Miriam Wilson 75, and Annie Murphy a 79.
Montesano was led by Hailey Blancas’ 43.
